law? order? human rights?

i used to be a humanist.. i used to belive in law and order..
its a long story of a short way how i got to something what can be described as misantrophy..
and today im proved right once again. for a change.
"Police to use text message tactics to snare rape suspects"
"prosecutors to trial US ploy of self-incrimination"
thats fine isnt it?
youd think.. BUT!
and heres the bitter pill:
what happens to rape cases?
suspect charged: 30%
rape convictions: 6%
main reason for not charging:
insufficient evidence: 40%
thats just sick.. thats devastating..
and the cause of my latest endless anger:
using pretext phonecalls "is certain to meet resistance fom some judges and lawyers on civil liberties grounds"
and its "an exceedingly dangerous course to adopt"
what the fuck is going on?! i swear some fucking human rights freaks just went way too fucking far..
i WANT police to be allowed using it.. ive had enough.. ive had enough of criminals running free because they have fucking rights.
ive had enough of prisons being hotels.
i just wonder how much theyd defend their views after their mother/sister/girlfriend/friend being raped.
i just wonder if theyd still call some human rights.
but of course its easy to preach from their million pounds worth estates pretty far from highly crime affected places.
sometimes i really miss Draco.. i really do..

[P.S.: do not misunderstand me. human rights are precious and should be protected. but there are limits. or there should be. you wont legalize heroin because those freaks have the right to kill themselves with it. you wont legalize pedophilia because sick bastards have the right to fulfil their sexual needs. and its not even close to have the suspect tortured in a dark cell..]
